Role Overview
We are looking for a Marketing and Fund Raising Associate who will work closely with the founder to strengthen SaralX’s brand presence and support fundraising efforts through grants and awards. This is a high-ownership, multi-functional role ideal for someone who enjoys storytelling, research, and execution in a mission-driven startup.
Key Responsibilities
Organic Digital Marketing
● Write and publish blogs aligned with SaralX’s mission, services, and accessibility thought leadership
● Manage and grow SaralX’s presence on social media, primarily LinkedIn
● Plan and maintain content calendars for blogs and social media
● Optimize website and blog content for SEO (keywords, meta descriptions, content structure)
● Collaborate with the founder to convert impact stories, case studies, and milestones into compelling content
● Track basic content performance metrics and suggest improvements
Fund Raising through Grants & Awards
● Identify and track relevant grants, awards, fellowships, and accelerator programs (India
and global)
● Maintain a structured pipeline with deadlines, requirements, and submission status
● Draft, customize, and finalize grant and award applications
● Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather impact data, metrics, and supporting
documents
● Prepare supporting materials such as organizational profiles, impact narratives, case
studies, and pitch decks
● Track outcomes and maintain records for reuse and future applicationsAdministrative & Coordination Support
● Support administrative and coordination tasks related to marketing and fundraising
activities
● Maintain organized documentation and repositories for content, grants, and
applications
● Assist in follow-ups and coordination with ecosystem partners, incubators, and
collaborators
Required Skills & Qualifications
● Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
● Ability to research, synthesize information, and present it clearly and persuasively
● Comfortable working in a fast-paced, early-stage startup setting
● Basic understanding of digital marketing, content writing, or SEO
● High attention to detail, especially for grant and award applications
● Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities independently
Good to Have
● Prior experience in graphic designing and video editing for social media or marketing
content
● Experience leading or contributing to marketing and/or fund raising initiatives in NGOs
● Experience leading or contributing to marketing and/or fund raising initiatives in
college clubs or student-led initiatives
● Familiarity with accessibility, social impact, EdTech, or Assistive Technology domains
● Experience working with startups, NGOs, or research-driven organizations
