Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Purchase Engineer to manage procurement of electrical and bought-out components such as Motors, Gearboxes, Pneumatic & Hydraulic components, and Capital Goods. The ideal candidate will have solid vendor relationship skills, good technical understanding of components, and excellent negotiation abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Procurement of electrical components and bought-out items including motors, gearboxes, pneumatic and hydraulic components, and capital goods.

2. Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure timely supply and best pricing.

3. Evaluate supplier performance and manage supply contracts.

4. Negotiate prices, delivery terms, and quality standards.

5. Ensure proper inventory management and control measures.

6. Collaborate with internal departments to understand material requirements.

7.



Perform data and operations analysis to optimize cost and procurement cycles.

8. Resolve procurement-related issues and handle conflict resolution with vendors

Candidate Profile:

Minimum 2 years of experience in purchasing electrical and bought-out components.

Should not be from automobile industry, casting industry, or with experience limited to raw material procurement.

Strong knowledge of electrical components and bought-out items.

Proficient in negotiation, vendor development, and material resource management.

Sound understanding of inventory systems and supply chain operations.

Analytical mindset with attention to detail.

Preferred Qualities:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.

Exposure to ERP or procurement software will be an added advantage.

Salary: No bar for right candidate

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
