Hiring for an Associate in the General Practice Department for Mumbai Location

Job Description:

- Associate in the General Practice Department.
- Work as part of a team on interesting cases involving general litigation, real estate, private client, general corporate, insolvency and bankruptcy, debt recovery, etc.
- Carrying out legal research, drafting of pleadings, prosecuting cases, briefing counsels, and appearing before different courts and tribunals, drafting of legal notices, drafting of agreements and all ancillary tasks associated therewith.
- Handling a variety of corporate commercial transactions, including M&As;, JVs and PE investments, corporate restructuring, fund formation, etc.
- Drafting and negotiating different types of license agreements, technology transfer agreements, business transfer agreements, franchise agreements, software license agreements, service agreements,



software development agreements, non-disclosure agreements, assignment deeds, distribution agreements and all ancillary tasks associated therewith.
- Travel across India as and when required.

Ideal Candidate:

- LLB (3 year or 5 year) with 1+ years of experience as a general practice lawyer in a small or mid-sized law firm.
- Handled a variety of real estate, debt recovery, insolvency and bankruptcy, general corporate, general litigation, etc.
- Experience in Carrying out legal research, drafting of pleadings, prosecuting cases, briefing counsels, and appearing before different courts and tribunals, drafting of legal notices, drafting of agreements and all ancillary tasks associated therewith.
- Above average academic credentials.
- Fluent in English.
- Team worker, highly motivated and able to work in a high-pressure workplace.
- Enrolled with the Bar Council of India
