Job Summary
Strong programming skills in Java. Deep knowledge of HTTP/2, REST/JSON, OpenAPI/Swagger and TLS/mTLS. Solid software engineering practices: unit/integration testing, code reviews, automated pipelines, secure coding. Experience with Kubernetes, Helm, containerization patterns, CI/CD and infra-as-code. Practical experience with relational and NoSQL databases. Experience with observability toolchains: Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, Jaeger. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and cross-functional collaboration. Direct experience implementing or integrating with 3GPP SBI (Nudm, Nausf, Neir) and relevant 3GPP specifications. Experience with service mesh (Istio/Linkerd) and API gateways for service discovery and mTLS termination. Design for high concurrency and predictable behavior under load. Optimize resource efficiency: minimize CPU and memory footprint; document resource profiles and cost estimates. Ensure horizontal scalability: stateless/partitionable designs, sharding and session affinity as needed. Expose standardized metrics (Prometheus format) for requests, latencies (histograms), error rates, resource utilization, backend latencies, cache hit ratios, concurrent sessions and auth success/fail counts.
Provide structured, contextual logging (JSON) with log correlation to trace/request IDs; enforce log redaction for sensitive data.
5G Service-Based Network Functions (AUSF / UDM / EIR)
About the Role: Experienced senior engineer to develop cloud native 5G Service Based Interface (SBI) network functions (example AUSF, UDM, EIR).
Key responsibilities
Develop and maintain REST/HTTP2/JSON/OpenAPI-compliant SBI APIs and server implementations, including service discovery and inter NF communications. Implement required security flows (mTLS, OAuth2 token validation where applicable). Build cloud-native containerized services (Docker/Kubernetes) with appropriate configuration, lifecycle management and horizontal scaling. Create and maintain API specifications (OpenAPI), automated integration tests and conformance test suites. Implement end-to-end observability: metrics, logs, distributed tracing and health checks; design dashboards and alerting for SLOs.
Key Responsibilities
1. To architect| design and develop (through Team) solution for product/project & sustenance delivery
2. To support as an SME
3. To ensure knowledge up-gradation and work with current technologies so that the solution is current and meets quality standards and the client requirements
4. To train and develop team so as to ensure that there is an adequate supply of trained manpower in the said technology and deliver risks are mitigated
5. To gather specifications and deliver solutions to the client organization based on understanding of a domain or technology
6. To review project deliverables.
7. To recommend client value creation initiatives and implement industry best practices (on specific technology/product)
