Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled Food Technologist with hands-on experience in food manufacturing to support product development, process optimization, quality improvement, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in New Product Development (NPD) and Research & Development (R&D;), along with a sound understanding of food processing technologies and food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and improve food products, formulations, and manufacturing processes.
- Lead and support New Product Development (NPD) activities from concept to commercial production.
- Conduct Research & Development (R&D;) activities, including formulation development, ingredient evaluation, and product optimization.
- Provide technical support during product trials, pilot batches, scale-up, and commercial production.
- Conduct product evaluations, process validation, and shelf-life studies.
- Ensure compliance with FSSAI, HACCP, GMP, and other applicable food safety and quality standards.
- Prepare technical documentation, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), product specifications,



and trial reports.
- Collaborate with Quality, Procurement, Production, and other cross-functional teams to ensure successful product development and implementation.
- Identify production and quality-related issues and recommend process improvements to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.

Required Skills

- Hands-on experience in New Product Development (NPD) and Research & Development (R&D;) within the food manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of food formulation, ingredient functionality, and product optimization.
- Good understanding of food processing technologies and manufacturing operations.
- Sound knowledge of FSSAI regulations, HACCP, GMP, and Quality Management Systems.
- Experience in conducting product trials, scale-up activities, shelf-life studies, and process validation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and collaborative environment.
- Proficiency in preparing technical reports, product specifications, and development documentation.
