Job Summary

Talent Craft India is looking for a passionate and experienced Chess Trainer to conduct engaging online chess classes for children aged 5 to 18 years. The ideal candidate should possess strong chess knowledge, excellent teaching skills, and the ability to make learning enjoyable for students of different skill levels.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct live online chess classes for beginner, intermediate, and advanced students.
- Teach chess fundamentals, tactical patterns, strategic concepts, opening principles, middlegame planning, and endgame techniques.
- Prepare structured lesson plans according to students' learning levels.
- Analyze students' games and provide constructive feedback for improvement.
- Assign practice exercises, puzzles, and homework to reinforce learning.
- Encourage students to participate in tournaments and competitive events.
- Track student progress and maintain performance records.
- Create an engaging, interactive, and positive online learning environment.
- Coordinate with the Operations Team regarding schedules, attendance, and student progress.
- Attend trainer meetings and training sessions whenever required.

Eligibility

- Bachelor's degree in any discipline (preferred).
- Minimum 1 year of experience in teaching or coaching chess.
- Strong knowledge of chess fundamentals, tactics, strategy, openings, middlegame, and endgame concepts.




- Experience teaching children is preferred.
- FIDE rating or participation in recognized chess tournaments will be an added advantage.
- Excellent communication and teaching skills.
- Comfortable conducting online classes using Zoom, Google Meet, or similar platforms.
- Reliable laptop/desktop, webcam, headset, and stable internet connection.

Working Schedule

- Flexible working hours.
- Classes are assigned based on student enrollments and trainer availability.
- Evening and weekend availability will be preferred.

Compensation

Compensation will be discussed during the interview and will depend on the candidate's experience, qualifications, FIDE rating (if applicable), and the number of classes assigned.
