About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Silver Jewellery Merchandiser to join our growing jewellery brand. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in silver jewellery sourcing, supplier management, product development, merchandising, and collection planning. The candidate must be willing to travel extensively to identify new suppliers, attend jewellery exhibitions, and procure unique collections that match current market trends.

Key ResponsibilitiesProduct Sourcing & Procurement

- Source high-quality 92.5 sterling silver jewellery, silver articles, gift items, and lifestyle products from manufacturers across India.
- Identify and develop relationships with new suppliers and manufacturers.
- Negotiate pricing, quality, delivery timelines, and commercial terms with vendors.
- Procure exclusive and trend-driven collections for the brand.

Merchandising & Collection Development

- Research market trends and customer preferences.
- Build seasonal and festive silver jewellery collections.
- Introduce innovative product categories and exclusive designs.
- Coordinate with design, marketing, and sales teams for successful product launches.
- Maintain the right product mix based on customer demand and sales performance.

Supplier & Vendor Management

- Visit supplier factories and manufacturing units.
- Evaluate supplier quality standards and production capabilities.
- Build long-term relationships with reliable vendors.
- Monitor supplier performance and ensure timely deliveries.

Exhibitions & Market Visits

- Travel across India to attend jewellery exhibitions, trade fairs, and sourcing events.
- Discover new manufacturers, artisans, and product trends.




- Represent the company during exhibitions and supplier meetings.
- Identify emerging trends and business opportunities.

Inventory & Product Planning

- Work closely with inventory and purchase teams.
- Forecast demand and plan procurement accordingly.
- Ensure healthy stock levels while minimizing slow-moving inventory.
- Maintain accurate product and vendor records.

Requirements

- 3–8 years of experience in Silver Jewellery Merchandising, Buying, or Procurement.
- Strong knowledge of 92.5 sterling silver jewellery and silver articles.
- Experience in supplier sourcing, vendor negotiation, and product procurement.
- Willingness to travel frequently across India for sourcing and exhibitions.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
- Good understanding of jewellery trends, pricing, and market demand.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and inventory management systems is preferred.
