The Accounts Officer is responsible for ensuring accurate accounting, statutory compliance, financial reporting, and coordination with hotels and corporate departments. The role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, GST, TDS, Companies Act compliance, internal controls, and hospitality accounting practices.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Accounting

- Maintain books of accounts in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
- Verify journal vouchers, payment vouchers, receipts, and supporting documents.
- Review accounting entries posted by units for accuracy.
- Prepare monthly schedules and reconciliations.
- Perform bank, cash, and inter-company reconciliations.
- Monitor outstanding receivables and payables.

Statutory Compliance

- Ensure timely compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESI, Professional Tax, and other statutory requirements.
- Reconcile GST returns with books of accounts.
- Assist in preparing data for statutory audits and tax audits.
- Coordinate with auditors and consultants for compliance matters.

Financial Reporting

- Prepare monthly MIS reports and variance analyses.
- Support preparation of annual financial statements.
- Monitor budget versus actual performance.
- Generate reports required by management.

Accounts Payable & Receivable

- Verify vendor invoices and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Review payment proposals and ensure timely processing.
- Monitor customer collections and follow up on overdue balances.
- Ensure proper accounting of advances and settlements.

Internal Controls

- Ensure compliance with corporate finance policies and SOPs.
- Review accounting controls across business units.
- Identify process gaps and recommend improvements.
- Support internal audits and implementation of audit observations.

Corporate Coordination

- Coordinate with hotels, hospitals, and other business units for accounting matters.
- Provide guidance to unit finance teams on accounting and statutory issues.
- Assist in group consolidation of financial information.




- Maintain documentation and records for statutory inspections.

Fixed Assets

- Maintain the fixed asset register.
- Verify capitalization of assets.
- Ensure proper accounting of depreciation.
- Assist in periodic physical verification of assets.

Budgeting & Analysis

- Assist in annual budgeting exercises.
- Monitor expenditure against approved budgets.
- Prepare analytical reports for management decision-making.

Systems & Process Improvement

- Ensure accurate accounting in ERP/accounting software.
- Support implementation of automation initiatives.
- Recommend improvements to accounting processes and controls.

Qualifications

- M.Com / MBA (Finance) / B.Com with relevant experience.
- CA Inter or CMA Inter qualification will be an added advantage.

Experience

- 3–6 years of experience in Finance & Accounts.
- Experience in the hospitality industry is preferred.
- Experience in a corporate office environment is desirable.

Technical Skills

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles.
- Working knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and Companies Act.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, Lookup functions, data analysis).
- Experience with ERP/accounting software.
- Positive analytical and reconciliation skills.

- Responsiveness to business unit support requirements.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
