SPOC (single point of contact) for the CBox 2020 RD project
Project/Domain: Connected ECU Middleware (Linux-based telematics/connected ECU supporting data, GNSS, and eCall standards)
Role Type: Technical Lead / SPOC

Role Summary
We are looking for a SPOC (Single Point of Contact) to support a Linux-based ECU middleware program. This role is responsible for communication of project needs/requests, team ramp-up planning, and task assignment within the development team. The SPOC will work closely with client’s technical leadership to evaluate change requests, coordinate work packages, plan timelines, and track progress through completion. In this role, you will lead the development and maintain C++ software for embedded Linux-based telematics devices.

Key Responsibilities
▪ Serve as the primary contact for technical project leadership.
▪ Communicate project needs and requests, supporting transparent execution planning.
▪ Drive team ramp-up planning,



including bring-up planning and supporting training coordination.
▪ Align and assign tasks/work packages within the development team.
▪ Work with the global team to analyze and debug software, resolve issues directly with customers or Tier-1.
▪ Support evaluation of change requests with function owners / technical leadership.
▪ Support timeline planning jointly with the customer-side organization.
▪ Track delivery via implementation timeline and ticket burn-down.
▪ Provide regular status reporting to project leaders.

Required Qualifications
▪ 5+ years of Senior-level C++ development expertise.
▪ Hands-on work building or customizing embedded Linux systems.
▪ Strong knowledge of Linux internals, including processes, memory, IPC, and filesystems.
▪ Exposure to IoT platforms, telematics systems, wireless devices, or connected products.
▪ Understanding of TCP/IP protocol internals.
▪ Unified Modeling Language Knowledge.
▪ Knowledge of secure coding standards.
▪ Experience with Secure Data Logging such as DLT.
▪ Knowledge of Automotive Functional Safety (ISO 26262).
▪ Robust project management experience.
▪ System-level thinking and the ability to systematically break down complex behaviors and analyze interactions between subsystems and comprehensively assess potential failure modes.
