We are looking for a Next.js Apprentice to join our Frontend Engineering team and help build scalable, high-performance web applications.
This internship is ideal for candidates who want hands-on experience with up-to-date React, Next.js, and frontend development best practices while working in a real production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and maintaining web applications using Next.js and React.
- Build responsive UI components based on Figma or design specifications.
- Work with Server-Side Rendering (SSR), Static Site Generation (SSG), and Incremental Static Regeneration (ISR) in Next.js.
- Integrate frontend applications with REST or GraphQL APIs.
- Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code.
- Troubleshoot bugs, optimize application performance, and refactor existing components.
- Participate in code reviews, daily stand-ups, and team collaboration.
- Learn and follow frontend best practices, including accessibility, SEO, and performance optimization.
Required Skills
- Good understanding of JavaScript (ES6+).
- Basic knowledge of Next.js (routing, Pages/App Router,
data fetching).
- Strong understanding of React fundamentals:
- Components
- Props
- State
- Hooks
- Knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3.
- Familiarity with modern CSS frameworks or methodologies such as:
- Tailwind CSS
- CSS Modules
- Styled Components
- Basic knowledge of Git and version control.
- Quick learner with strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.
