Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and dedicated Civil Site Engineer to manage day-to-day site activities and ensure construction work is executed as per drawings, quality standards, and project timelines. The ideal candidate should have hands-on field experience in residential building construction and be willing to work on-site.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily construction activities at the project site.
- Ensure work is executed according to approved drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and in-house teams.
- Monitor labour productivity and maintain work progress.
- Ensure quality control and adherence to construction standards.
- Verify reinforcement, shuttering, concreting, brickwork, plastering, and finishing works.
- Prepare daily site progress reports and maintain project documentation.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Coordinate material requirements and monitor material usage.
- Report project updates and site issues to the Project Engineer.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 1 year of field experience in residential construction.
- Good knowledge of construction methods and building materials.
- Ability to read and understand architectural and structural drawings.
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Willingness to travel between project sites.
Preferred Skills
- proficiency in Kannada
- Strong problem-solving ability.
- Good planning and time management.
- Ability to handle labour and subcontractor coordination.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
