About the role
Step into a critical leadership role where you’ll oversee our country-level Accounting operations for Norway, ensuring seamless performance across PTP, OTC and RTR. As Senior Accounting Manager, you’ll act as the central link between local Accounting teams, Shared Services and Group functions - anchoring global standards, solving escalations, and driving continuous improvement. Your Key Responsibilities
Lead & empower the local Accounting activities across Norway: Responsible for effective liaising with the local Accounting teams and Finance Shared Services teams ensuring high performance, development and team cohesion
Oversee end‑to‑end Accounting operations : Ensure timely and accurate processing of all accounting activities - including month-end close, reconciliations, intercompany transactions, recharges, and management reporting.
Ensure audit & statutory compliance : Manage internal and external audits, coordinate statutory financial statements and tax submissions, and work with Group Tax to ensure full compliance with local and Group requirements.
Strengthen controls & reporting accuracy : Maintain robust financial controls, ensure adherence to IFRS, approve payments where needed and deliver reliable financial reporting to senior leadership.
Drive process optimisation & standardisation : Identify and deliver improvement opportunities across OTC, PTP and RTR, partnering with CoEs, GPOs, Shared Services and BPO providers to enhance quality, efficiency and automation.
Collaborate with key stakeholders across the business : Work closely with Treasury, Sales, Customer Service, and external partners to streamline processes, resolve issues, support hedging activities and optimise end‑to‑end Accounting workflows.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
Education & Experience
University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field
Minimum of 7 years’ Accounting experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role
Experience in manufacturing or industrial sectors preferred
Strong knowledge of OTC, PTP and general accounting principles; RTR expertise is a plus
Proven ability to coordinate and plan workflow across Accounting teams
Skills & Competencies
Strong communication skills, with the ability to deliver insights to senior leadership
Excellent leadership, people management and interpersonal skills
Proficient in ERP systems and Accounting tools
Strong MS Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
Fluent in English
