Job DescriptionRole overview:The Accountant Finance & Accounting will be supporting the Finance and Accounting function by managing daily accounting responsibilities and tasks. The ideal candidate should be well-versed with accounting principles and able to work comfortably with numbers with high attention to detail.The goal is to contribute to the overall productive operation of the Finance & Accounting function.What will you do:Accounting:- Facilitate bookkeeping- Update accounting systems to record accounting transactions on Netsuite- Prepare bank, foreign currency, and petty cash reconciliations- Create periodic reports, such as AR Report, AP Report, Cash flow- Perform Balance Sheet reconciliations such as AR, AP, Prepaid expenses.- Assist Accounts Manager in management of monthly accountsTaxation:- Compute taxes and prepare tax returns- Prepare quarterly/monthly TDS return workings- File Monthly GST returns to ensure regulatory compliance- Assist in preparation of Annual GST workings to ensure regulatory complianceAudit & Compliance:- Assist in preparation of year-end accounts- Support Annual audits such as Statutory, Tax and TP Audit and provide information to external auditors as required- Prepare workings for APR filing- Compute CSR as applicable and highlight any shortfall/ excess in consumption- Prepare documentation for Outward foreign remittancesIdeally, you should have:- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance or Commerce.- 1-2 years Experience in general accounting role- Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles- Relevant statutory provisions along with filing exposure.- Proficiency in NetSuite- Proficiency with Email and Microsoft Office applications (Excel,
