Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django REST Framework.

Design, write, and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects.

Integrate applications with third-party APIs and internal services.

Build secure, high-performance, and reusable code following coding standards.

Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues.

Optimize application and database performance.

Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality.

Collaborate with frontend developers, QA teams, Dev Ops engineers, and business stakeholders.

Participate in code reviews and Agile/Scrum ceremonies.

Maintain technical documentation for APIs and system designs.

Required Skills

Strong proficiency in Python programming.

Hands-on experience with FastAPI, Flask, or Django REST Framework.

Strong knowledge of REST API design and development.

Expertise in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, or Oracle).

Experience with Object Relational Mapping (ORM) tools such as SQLAlchemy or Django ORM.

Knowledge of authentication mechanisms such as OAuth2, JWT, and API security best practices.

Experience with Git and version control systems.

Familiarity with Docker and containerized deployments.
