Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP FI Lead with strong expertise in SAP Financial Accounting (FI) to lead implementation, support, enhancement, and rollout projects. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in SAP FI configuration, business process analysis, stakeholder management, and integration with other SAP modules. The role requires leading functional discussions, gathering business requirements, and delivering scalable SAP solutions aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead SAP FI implementation, rollout, migration, and support projects.
- Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP solutions.
- Configure and support SAP FI modules including:
- General Ledger (GL)
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Asset Accounting (AA)
- Bank Accounting
- Taxation
- Financial Closing Processes
- Manage month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
- Work closely with business users, finance teams, and technical teams to resolve issues and implement enhancements.
- Ensure seamless integration between SAP FI and other SAP modules such as CO, MM, SD, and PP.
- Conduct system testing, UAT support, defect resolution, and production deployment activities.
- Prepare functional specifications and coordinate with ABAP developers for custom developments.




- Provide production support, incident management, and root cause analysis.
- Mentor junior consultants and guide project teams on best practices.
- Participate in project planning, estimation, and stakeholder communications.

Required Skills

- 7+ years of experience in SAP FI consulting and support.
- Solid hands-on experience in SAP FI configuration and business processes.
- Expertise in GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting, and Financial Reporting.
- Experience in SAP S/4HANA Finance implementation or migration projects.
- Strong understanding of financial accounting principles and business processes.
- Experience with integration between FI and CO, MM, SD modules.
- Knowledge of interfaces, IDOCs, and SAP reporting.
- Experience in requirement gathering, solution design, testing, and deployment.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

- SAP S/4HANA Finance certification.
- Experience in global rollout or transformation projects.
- Knowledge of Fiori applications and SAP reporting tools.
- Exposure to GST, taxation, and statutory compliance requirements.
- Experience in Agile or Waterfall project methodologies.

Education

- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- SAP FI Certification is preferred.
