Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Java Developer with strong expertise in Apache Kafka to design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance enterprise applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience building microservices, implementing event-driven architectures, and working with distributed systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications using Spring Boot.
- Build and manage event-driven applications using Apache Kafka.
- Develop RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Integrate applications with databases and third-party systems.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical design discussions.

Required Skills

- 5–8 years of experience in Java application development.




- Strong proficiency in Java 8/11/17 and Spring Boot.
- Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka (producers, consumers, topics, partitions, consumer groups).
- Experience developing REST APIs and Microservices.
- Robust understanding of multithreading, collections, and JVM concepts.
- Experience with SQL databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL).
- Familiarity with Git, Maven/Gradle, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes is an advantage.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with event-driven architecture and distributed systems.
- Exposure to monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Splunk.
- Knowledge of messaging systems and integration patterns.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
