Hiring for AWS Cloud & Data Platform Engineer

Skills :

1. AWS Serverless Stack (hands-on) — Lambda, API Gateway, EventBridge, SNS/SQS. This is the core of the role. Must show actual build experience in project descriptions, not just "AWS" listed as a skill.

2. Infrastructure-as-Code ownership — Terraform or AWS CDK. Candidate must have personally written and deployed IaC, not just worked inside infra someone else provisioned.

3. Python or Node.js for Lambda development — Needs to be evident at the project level (what they actually built), not just listed as a language proficiency.

4. Cloud-native ETL/data pipeline experience — Specifically Lambda + Glue-based pipelines and event-driven ingestion. Traditional ETL tool backgrounds (Informatica, SSIS, Talend) don't count as equivalent here.

5. CI/CD experience with GitHub Actions, CodePipeline, or similar tools
