For an international organization, we are urgently looking for a Full Remote Senior ServiceNow CMDB/ITOM Developer.

We are looking for a contractor, who is able to work full-time in CET working hours. Candidates need to be fluent in English.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

- Design, implement, and maintain the ServiceNow CMDB, ensuring data integrity, completeness, and compliance with CSDM standards;
- Develop and enhance CMDB data models, CI class structures, relationships, and identification rules to support enterprise architecture;
- Configure and optimize ITOM modules, including Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, and Cloud/Infrastructure Monitoring;
- Implement and maintain ServiceNow Discovery patterns, probes, sensors, and MID Server configurations;
- Develop Service Mapping solutions, including top‑down and tag‑based mapping for business services and applications;
- Define and enforce CMDB governance frameworks, including data lifecycle management, reconciliation rules, and data certification;
- Troubleshoot CMDB data quality issues and implement automated solutions for data normalization, de-duplication, and reconciliation;
- Develop and maintain integrations between CMDB/ITOM and external systems using APIs and Integration Hub;
- Configure and optimize Event Management rules, alert correlation, and automation workflows to reduce noise and improve incident response;
- Contribute to automation initiatives leveraging Flow Designer, Scripted APIs, and orchestration capabilities;
- Take on tasks with full autonomy in CMDB and ITOM architecture, following best practices and design decisions;




- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure accurate service modeling and alignment with business services;
- Create and maintain technical documentation, and runbooks;
- Support platform governance, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, compliant, and audit‑ready;
- Contribute to building reusable frameworks and standardized processes for CMDB and ITOM implementations;

Profile:

- Bachelor or Master degree;
- +5 years of ServiceNow experience, with strong focus on CMDB and ITOM implementations;
- CMDB design and management (CI classes, relationships, identification & reconciliation rules);
- ITOM modules – Discovery, Service Mapping, and Event Management;
- Discovery (patterns, probes, sensors, MID Servers);
- Service Mapping (top-down, horizontal discovery, tag-based mapping);
- Experience in CMDB data governance and CSDM alignment;
- Hands-on experience with Event Management, including alert correlation, noise reduction, and automation;
- Solid scripting experience using JavaScript, Glide APIs, and ServiceNow backend logic for CMDB/ITOM customization;
- Experience with REST APIs and Integration Hub for system integrations;
- Exposure to ITSM processes and how they leverage CMDB data (Incident, Change, Problem);
- Experience using GitHub Copilot and AI-assisted coding tools for script generation, refactoring, debugging, and responsible vibe coding is a big plus;
- Proficiency in Visual Studio Code, CLI/terminal-based development, CI/CD workflows is a big plus;
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – Discovery / Service Mapping / CMDB is an advantage;
- Fluent in English;
