Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Windows Server / Cloud Support Engineer with 5+ years of expertise in Windows Server administration, enterprise infrastructure support, and hybrid cloud environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, administering, and optimizing Windows-based infrastructure that supports critical business operations.

This role requires solid hands-on experience in Windows Server administration, Active Directory, virtualization technologies, cloud platforms (Azure/GCP), system monitoring, troubleshooting, patch management, and security hardening. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high availability, performance,



and security of enterprise infrastructure while contributing to automation and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- Administer, monitor, and maintain Windows Server environments to ensure optimal system performance, availability, and reliability.
- Perform routine system administration activities including server provisioning, patch management, backups, scheduled maintenance, and system upgrades.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows operating systems, hardware, networking, user access, and enterprise applications.
- Manage and maintain Active Directory, Group Policies (GPO), DNS, DHCP, user accounts, security groups, and file permissions.
- Monitor system health, analyze logs, and proactively identify performance bottlenecks and infrastructure issues.
- Deploy, configure, and support enterprise applications hosted on Windows platforms.
- Implement Windows security hardening, vulnerability remediation, and compliance best practices.
- Support virtualization platforms and hybrid cloud infrastructure across Azure and GCP environments.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell, Bash, or Python to improve operational efficiency.
- Work closely with infrastructure, cloud, application, and security teams to support business-critical systems.
- Maintain technical documentation, system configurations, operational procedures, and incident records.
- Participate in incident, change, and problem management processes following ITIL best practices.
- Contribute to infrastructure modernization through automation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and process optimization.
- Support internal and external audits by ensuring system compliance and operational readiness.

Mandatory Skills





- 5+ years of experience in Windows Server Administration and Enterprise Infrastructure Support.
- Strong expertise in Windows Server 2008, 2012, 2016, 2019, 2022, and 2025.
- Hands-on experience with Active Directory, Group Policy (GPO), DNS, DHCP, and user/group administration.
- Strong understanding of Windows file systems, NTFS permissions, and server security.
- Experience in system monitoring, event log analysis, and performance troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience with Windows patch management, updates, backups, and disaster recovery processes.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows OS, hardware, networking, and enterprise applications.
- Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
- Knowledge of Windows security hardening, vulnerability management, and compliance standards.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware, Nutanix, Docker, or KVM.
- Exposure to Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and hybrid cloud environments.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and automated infrastructure management.
- Familiarity with patch management and configuration tools such as BigFix.
- Knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM) tools such as ServiceNow or BMC Remedy.
- Experience with RESTful APIs for system integration and automation.
- Exposure to Citrix Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) and Windows 365 (W365).
- Understanding of AI-driven IT Operations (AIOps) and infrastructure automation.
- Knowledge of ITIL processes, including Incident, Change, and Problem Management.
- Microsoft certifications such as Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate, MCSA, or MCSE are preferred.

Education & Certifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate (Preferred)
- MCSA / MCSE / MCSD (Preferred)
