SAP RISE Functional Consultant - MM Pune · Full Time · Remote

About the Role We are seeking an experienced SAP RISE Functional Consultant to analyze and optimize Procure-to-Pay, Inventory Management, and planning-related processes. The role involves collaborating with various teams to support demand planning, material master data configuration, and end-to-end integration with other modules. Success in this role will be measured by the ability to deliver high-quality solutions and provide excellent post-go-live support.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyze and optimize Procure-to-Pay, Inventory Management, and planning-related processes aligned with SAP S/4HANA MM best practices
- Gather and translate business requirements across purchasing, inventory control, valuation, and demand planning
- Configure SAP S/4HANA MM within a RISE Private Cloud environment, including purchasing, inventory management, special stocks, and material valuation
- Support Material Master Data configuration and governance, including material types, views, units of measure, and lifecycle controls
- Collaborate with planning teams to support demand planning, MRP integration, and downstream execution processes
- Enable end-to-end integration with FI, SD, EWM, and Planning, covering inventory valuation, account determination, and availability impacts
- Perform fit-gap analysis and prepare functional design documentation aligned with SAP Activate methodology
- Collaborate with technical teams on RICEFW requirements, testing, and integrations
- Execute unit testing and support SIT, UAT, cutover, go-live,



and hyper care activities
- Provide post-go-live L2/L3 functional support, including incident analysis and recurring issue resolution
- Support period-end inventory close activities, including reconciliation and valuation validation
- Support end-user training, release management, and change control processes
- Ensure compliance with procurement controls, inventory accuracy, data integrity, and audit requirements

Requirements

- 5 to 10 years of experience in SAP S/4HANA MM
- Experience in analyzing and optimizing Procure-to-Pay, Inventory Management, and planning-related processes
- Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA MM best practices
- Experience in configuring SAP S/4HANA MM within a RISE Private Cloud environment
- Robust understanding of Material Master Data configuration and governance
- Experience in collaborating with planning teams to support demand planning, MRP integration, and downstream execution processes
- Knowledge of end-to-end integration with FI, SD, EWM, and Planning
