Role Summary

We are seeking a hands-on Data Architect with extensive experience in designing, implementing, and governing enterprise-scale data platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Data Lakes, Databricks, Big Query, Data Pipelines, Data Products, and Business Intelligence (BI), with proven experience delivering scalable, secure, and high-performance data solutions.

This is a solution-level architecture role requiring the candidate to work closely with business and engineering teams to define data architecture, establish best practices, and deliver modern data platforms.

This is not a design-only architecture role. Candidates must have hands-on implementation experience in building Data Lakes, developing ETL/ELT pipelines, implementing Data Products and APIs, designing enterprise data models, and delivering secure, governed, and scalable data platforms using Databricks and Big Query.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and hands-on implement enterprise data architectures using modern cloud data platforms.
- Architect scalable Data Lake and Lakehouse solutions using Databricks and Big Query.
- Design, develop, and optimize ETL/ELT data pipelines for structured and unstructured data.
- Build and enable reusable Data Products and Data APIs using Databricks.
- Design logical and physical data models for enterprise Data Lake environments.
- Define data integration patterns, architecture standards, and best practices.




- Enable business intelligence and analytics by designing optimized data models for reporting and dashboards.
- Implement enterprise data security, governance, metadata, and access control frameworks.
- Collaborate with engineering, analytics, and business teams to deliver scalable, reliable, and governed data solutions.

Skills & Experience

- 10+ years of overall IT experience with strong expertise in enterprise data architecture.
- Mandatory hands-on experience designing and implementing up-to-date cloud-based data platforms.
- Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale data architecture solutions from design through production.
- Strong stakeholder management and solution architecture experience.
- Experience with cloud-native data platforms - Azure Cloud
- Exposure to real-time or streaming data architectures.
- Experience implementing enterprise data governance frameworks and best practices.
- Knowledge of modern analytics, semantic models, and self-service BI platforms.
