Position Overview:

Production Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing daily production operations, ensuring quality standards are met, and maintaining a safe working environment within our organization. Manage production team, monitor processes, organize workflows and implement improvements to optimize day-to-day productivity and efficiency while minimizing the costs of manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervising and Training:

- Leading, guiding & providing training to production team, and ensuring adherence to safety procedures, guidelines & company standards.
- Coordinating & assigning tasks to production team & ensuring that all team members receive appropriate training to perform routine duties effectively.
- Recruit, train & mentor new employees on how to safely use machineries and follow procedures.
- Enforce strict adherence to safety guidelines and company standards.

Production Planning and Scheduling:

- Developing, implementing & completing production plans, schedules, & strategies by establishing daily, weekly, & monthly objectives, & communicating them to production team.
- Managing work flows to meet production objectives by assigning responsibilities to personnel, establishing priorities, preparing & revising schedules, monitoring progress, resolving problems, reporting results of progress, & coordinating with other departments.
- Accomplish manufacturing results by communicating job expectations, appraising job results, coaching, counseling, disciplining team, initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
- Provides manufacturing information by compiling, initiating, sorting, and analyzing production performance records and data, and answering questions and responding to requests.

Quality Control:

- Monitoring production processes, and ensuring products meet quality specifications.
- Ensuring that quality control standards & protocols apply to a production process by establishing & enforcing production standards & also addressing quality-related issues that may arise.




- Research, test & recommend new products, to improve efficiency of products & processes so as to reduce avoidable cost.
- Always keeping an eye for attention to detail.

Safety Management:

- Implementing and enforcing safety protocols & ensuring adherence to safety procedures.
- Conducting regular equipment & machinery inspections to identify potential issues, hazards & coordinating with maintenance staff to make sure repairs & servicing happen as necessary.
- Maintain safe & clean environment by educating & directing team on the use of all control points, equipment & resources, & maintaining compliance with established policies & procedures.

Performance Management:

- Monitoring team performance, providing feedback, and identifying areas for improvement.
- Supervises team to produce manufactured products & organizes & monitors workflow.

Process Improvement:

- Leading and guiding production staff, providing training, and ensuring adherence to safety procedures.
- Monitoring production processes to ensure that, team is operating safely & efficiently & identifying areas for improvement.
- Ensure operation of equipment by calling for repairs and evaluating new equipment and techniques.
- Create and revise systems and procedures by analyzing operating practices, record-keeping systems, forms of control, and budgetary and personnel requirements, and implementing change.
- Resolve personnel problems by analyzing data, investigating issues, identifying solutions, and recommending action.
- Maintains & enhances professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops,



reviewing professional publications and content & benchmarking state-of-the-art practices.
- Identify issues in efficiency and suggest improvements.
- Perform verification of production output according to specifications.

Inventory Management:

Maintaining inventory levels, coordinating & ensuring adequate allocation of resources of raw materials & other supplies, are available according to schedule, & initiating purchase orders when needed with supply chain team.

Reporting and Communication:

• Preparing reports on production performance & progress, communicating with management and other departments, and maintaining clear communication within the team.

• Developing reporting procedures and systems, facilitating corrections to malfunctions within process control points, and initiating and fostering a spirit of cooperation within and between departments.

• Understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, software (Microsoft office & other) quality control & safety protocols.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. Engineering & Technology), or relevant training & certification in industrial production engineering or any other related field.

Additional Certifications:

• Operation Management, Safety Standards, & Lean Manufacturing.

Experience:

• Proven relevant experience in a supervisory or leadership role in a manufacturing environment of minimum 02 Years.
