- 4–5 years of hands-on experience in Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing.

Location: Chennai

We are looking for a skilled and motivated VAPT Engineer with 4 –5 years of experience in conducting security assessments, vulnerability analysis, and penetration testing of web applications, mobile applications, networks, APIs, and infrastructure. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical expertise in identifying security vulnerabilities and recommending effective remediation measures.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) for web applications, mobile applications, APIs, networks, cloud environments, and IT infrastructure.

• Conduct manual and automated security testing to identify vulnerabilities and security gaps.

• Analyze security risks, validate findings, and provide remediation recommendations.

• Prepare detailed VAPT reports with risk ratings, proof of concepts, and mitigation measures.

• Perform source code review and security assessments when required.

• Execute internal and external network penetration testing.

• Assess compliance with security standards and best practices such as OWASP Top 10, SANS, NIST, and CIS benchmarks.

• Work closely with development, infrastructure, and security teams to remediate identified vulnerabilities.

• Stay updated with emerging threats,



attack techniques, and security trends.

• Support security audits, client assessments, and compliance requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 4–5 years of hands-on experience in Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing.

• Robust knowledge of Web Application Security and OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities.

• Experience in testing APIs, mobile applications, and network infrastructure.

• Hands-on experience with security tools such as Burp Suite, Nessus, Nmap, Metasploit, OWASP ZAP, Acunetix, Nikto, and Wireshark.

• Good understanding of network protocols, operating systems, databases, and cloud security concepts.

• Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell is preferred.

• Ability to independently perform assessments and deliver professional reports.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

• CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker)

• eJPT / eCPPT

• OSCP (Preferred)

• CompTIA Security+

• CISSP (Added Advantage)

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or a related field.
