Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced QA Engineer with hands-on expertise in Finacle Core Banking to join our Banking QA team. In this role, you will be responsible for validating core banking, internet banking, and digital banking applications for a leading Caribbean banking client. The ideal candidate will have strong banking domain knowledge and experience testing Finacle modules, ensuring high-quality, secure, and compliant banking solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, review, and execute comprehensive test cases and test scenarios for Finacle Core Banking applications.
- Validate end-to-end banking processes including:
- Customer onboarding and account opening
- CASA operations
- Cash deposits and withdrawals
- Fund transfers (internal and external)
- Loan processing and repayments
- Interest and fee calculations
- Perform functional testing of Internet Banking and Online Banking applications, ensuring accuracy, usability, and security.
- Execute Functional, Regression, Integration, System Integration (SIT), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for application enhancements and production releases.
- Test Finacle modules including:
- CASA
- Term Deposits
- Loans
- Trade Finance
- Treasury
- General Ledger (GL)
- Validate interest computation, service charges, transaction postings, GL reconciliation, and batch processing (EOD/EOY).
- Verify backend data using SQL queries to ensure transaction integrity and data consistency.
- Identify, log, prioritize, and retest defects using defect management tools such as JIRA, HP ALM, or similar platforms.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers,



Product Owners, and stakeholders to understand business requirements and banking workflows.
- Prepare and maintain test plans, test scenarios, test scripts, traceability matrices, and test execution reports.
- Support regulatory compliance and audit activities by maintaining complete test documentation and evidence.
- Coordinate with onshore and offshore teams to ensure timely delivery of testing activities across multiple releases.

Required Skills & Experience

- 3–8 years of experience in Software QA, with at least 2 years of Finacle/Core Banking testing.
- Hands-on experience testing Finacle Core Banking applications.
- Strong understanding of banking operations and financial domain concepts.
- Experience testing Internet Banking, Mobile Banking, and Digital Banking platforms.
- Good knowledge of Finacle modules:
- CASA
- Deposits
- Loans
- Trade Finance
- Treasury
- Experience in Functional, Regression, Integration, SIT, and UAT testing.
- Proficiency in SQL for backend data validation and database verification.
- Experience using defect management and test management tools such as:
- JIRA
- HP ALM
- Azure DevOps
- TestRail (preferred)
- Robust understanding of banking regulations, compliance requirements, and financial business rules.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in Agile and Waterfall delivery environments.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or similar frameworks.
- Exposure to API testing using Postman, Swagger, or REST Assured.
- Knowledge of banking application security testing and authentication mechanisms.
- Experience testing integrations with payment systems, third-party banking services, and middleware.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Experience working in global onshore-offshore delivery models.
