We are seeking a skilled and proactive system administrator to join our IT team. As a system administrator, you will be responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, servers, and network infrastructure. Your expertise will ensure the smooth functioning of our organization's IT environment, providing essential support to maximize efficiency and productivity.

Key responsibilities:

1. System Maintenance and Configuration:

Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, software, and hardware components

Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues promptly to ensure uninterrupted operation

Perform regular system updates, patches, and upgrades to maintain security and stability

2. Server Management:

Administer and maintain servers, including virtual and physical servers

Configure server roles and services, such as Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and file services

Implement backup and recovery strategies to safeguard data integrity and ensure business continuity

3. Network Infrastructure:

Manage network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.

Monitor network performance and optimize network traffic to ensure reliability and efficiency





Implement security measures to protect the network from unauthorized access.

4. User Support and Training:

Provide technical support to end-users, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues

Assist users with system setup, configuration, and usage, ensuring a positive user experience

Develop and deliver training sessions to educate users on IT best practices and procedures

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)

2. Proven experience as a system administrator or similar role, with a solid understanding of IT systems and infrastructure

3. Proficiency in operating systems (Windows, Mac), server technologies (e.g., Microsoft Server, VMware), and networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)

4. Familiarity with virtualization technologies

5. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues

6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and end-users.
