Role Description The Sr Engineer Moulding will oversee and optimize injection moulding operations for medical device components at the Jaipur manufacturing facility. This full-time, on-site role includes planning and monitoring daily production, setting and adjusting moulding parameters, and ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and regulatory standards. Responsibilities include troubleshooting moulding issues, coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance of moulds and machines, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects, downtime, and cycle time.



The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams such as production, quality, maintenance, and R&D; for new mould trials, process validation, and implementation of engineering changes. The Sr Engineer Moulding will also prepare and maintain technical documentation, train team members on best practices, and support audits and compliance activities.
Qualifications

- Strong expertise in injection moulding processes, mould setup, parameter optimization, and troubleshooting for precision plastic components.
- Experience in production planning, shop-floor supervision, and coordination with maintenance and quality teams in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of medical device manufacturing standards, GMP, and regulatory requirements, with a focus on safety and quality compliance.
- Proficiency in using moulding machines, basic measurement tools, and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
- Ability to implement process improvement methods such as root cause analysis, Kaizen, and lean manufacturing practices.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and reporting skills, with attention to detail and systematic problem-solving capability.
- Effective communication and team collaboration skills, with the ability to train and guide operators and junior engineers.
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Plastics, Polymer, Production, or related engineering discipline.
