Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an E-commerce Website Developer based in Indore. As an E-commerce Developer, you will be responsible for building, customizing, and scaling high-performing online storefronts for our clients and in-house brands. Day-to-day tasks include developing custom themes, integrating payment gateways and third-party apps, optimizing site speed, and ensuring a seamless, mobile-first user experience across platforms like Shopify and WooCommerce.

Key Responsibilities

- Store Development & Customization: Build, launch, and manage fully functional e-commerce stores primarily on Shopify, WooCommerce, and custom frameworks.
- Theme & Frontend Coding: Translate design wireframes into responsive, clean code using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and platform-specific languages (e.g., Shopify Liquid).
- Integrations & APIs: Seamlessly integrate payment gateways, shipping providers, CRM tools, and essential third-party plugins/applications.
- Performance & Speed Optimization:



Conduct regular audits to improve site load times, core web vitals, checkout flows, and overall mobile responsiveness.
- Tracking & Analytics Setup: Implement technical tracking pixels, Google Tag Manager, GA4 e-commerce tracking, and conversion APIs in collaboration with our marketing team.
- Debugging & Maintenance: Troubleshoot checkout errors, broken links, code conflicts, and ensure robust security protocols across all client sites.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Proven experience as an E-commerce Developer or Web Developer with a strong portfolio of live online stores.
- Hands-on expertise with major e-commerce platforms, specifically Shopify (Liquid, Custom Apps) and WooCommerce.
- Strong proficiency in frontend technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and basic PHP.
- Experience integrating third-party APIs, payment gateways, and marketing tools.
- Solid understanding of UI/UX best practices, conversion rate optimization (CRO), and responsive design principles.
- Robust problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail and ability to meet strict project timelines.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate smoothly with design, marketing, and IT teams.
