QA Engineer — Payments US/UK Payment Rails Required About the Role We're hiring a QA Engineer to test our B2B payments platform. You'll own quality across end-to-end payment workflows — business onboarding and verification, payment processing, approval workflows, and fund transfers — working closely with developers and product managers. This role requires hands-on QA experience with US or UK payment rails and financial services products. What You'll Do Write and execute test cases for end-to-end payment flows — ACH, Wire, and Check transfers, approvals, refunds, and status tracking Test business/customer onboarding and verification flows, including identity and bank account verification Run regression testing each release cycle across multiple payment rails and modes Validate payment data accuracy across UI and backend — amounts, statuses, account details,



transaction records Log defects with explicit reproduction steps and severity classification Perform impact analysis on new features and provide QA sign-off at release gates Required Experience 3–8 years QA experience, including 2+ years testing US or UK payments, banking, or fintech products Hands-on experience testing payment rails such as ACH, Wire, and Check Familiarity with ISO 20022 payment messaging standards Experience testing KYC/KYB identity and account verification flows Ability to write structured, independent test cases with clear preconditions and expected results Comfortable with a test/defect management tool (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jira) Basic SQL for backend data verification Nice to Have Experience with payment gateways or processors (e.g., Stripe, Adyen, Dwolla, or similar) Exposure to B2B or invoice-based payment platforms API testing experience (e.g., Postman)
