- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience working on QA teams ideally with some focus on automation.
- Ability to build test plans and support the team with both manual and automated testing.
- Experience with developing load and stress tests.
- Knowledge of Git or other source control tools.
- Familiarity with testing APIs through Postman or other API testing tools.
- Experience with relational databases.
- Exposure to some test management tools.
- Enthusiasm for working in a small environment and the ability to be cross-functional.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and familiarity working in an agile workplace.
- Passion for technology and working with a team to continuously improve our tools, and our processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a strong QA process with manual and automated testing.
- Support testing for Blazor/ASP.NET frontend, web APIs and SQL server databases as the backend.
- Work with engineers and business users to gather and review requirements and ensure that they are testable.
- Build automated testing frameworks for continuous testing and delivery.
- Participate in development of the test approach based on established standards and the analysis of design documentation and requirements.
- Acquire and create test data and analyze/verify data.
- Responsible for bug management process and issue identification and tracking (bug advocacy).
- Assist the support team in activities related to application deployment where applicable.
- Serve as Level 2 support for production issues and related support needs.
