Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Dev SecOps & Cloud Engineer with extensive experience in designing, implementing, and optimizing enterprise Dev Ops platforms, cloud-native infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and Dev SecOps practices. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Git Hub Actions, Jenkins Shared Libraries, Git Hub Enterprise migrations, Terraform, AWS and/or Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, Sonar Qube, JFrog Artifactory or Nexus Repository Manager, and automation using Python and Shell scripting.
The successful candidate will architect secure, scalable, and automated delivery pipelines, standardize CI/CD frameworks, integrate security throughout the software development lifecycle, and lead cloud transformation initiatives. Working closely with Engineering, Security, and Platform teams, this role will drive Dev SecOps best practices, enhance developer productivity, improve software quality, and mentor engineers in building modern, resilient, and efficient cloud platforms.
What you will do:
CI/CD Engineering
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-grade CI/CD pipelines using Git Hub Actions and Jenkins Shared Libraries
- Build reusable workflows, shared libraries, composite actions, automation templates, and standardized CI/CD frameworks
- Optimize pipeline performance through matrix builds, caching, concurrency controls, artifact management, and workflow enhancements
- Lead and execute migrations from legacy source control and CI/CD platforms to Git Hub Enterprise
Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Automate cloud infrastructure provisioning using Terraform across AWS and/or Azure environments
- Integrate infrastructure provisioning seamlessly into CI/CD pipelines
- Maintain scalable, secure, and version-controlled infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices
Dev SecOps & Security
- Embed security-by-design principles throughout the CI/CD lifecycle
- Implement automated SAST, DAST, dependency scanning,
license compliance, and vulnerability management
- Secure secrets using Git Hub Secrets, OIDC, and cloud-native secret management solutions
- Configure and maintain Sonar Qube for code quality governance and technical debt management
- Enforce deployment approvals, environment protection rules, and release governance
Platform Engineering & Automation
- Design, deploy, and manage self-hosted Git Hub Runners, including Kubernetes-based Actions Runner Controller (ARC)
- Manage and optimize artifact repositories using JFrog Artifactory or Nexus Repository Manager
- Develop automation solutions using Python and Shell scripting to improve operational efficiency
- Optimize build infrastructure for scalability, reliability, performance, security, and cost efficiency
- Troubleshoot complex CI/CD pipeline failures, deployment issues, and infrastructure challenges
Technical Leadership
- Define and enforce enterprise CI/CD standards, Git workflows, YAML best practices, and branching strategies
- Mentor developers and Dev Ops engineers on modern Dev Ops, automation, and platform engineering practices
- Collaborate with Engineering, Security, and Platform teams to continuously improve software delivery processes
- Evaluate and implement emerging Dev Ops tools, cloud technologies, and automation best practices aligned with business objectives
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline. A Master's degree is an added advantage
- 8+ years of professional experience in Dev SecOps, Cloud Engineering, Dev Ops, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), Software Engineering, or a related role
- Strong expertise in designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise-grade CI/CD pipelines using Git Hub Actions and Jenkins Shared Libraries
- Hands-on experience building reusable workflows, composite actions, shared libraries, automation templates, and standardized CI/CD frameworks
- Proven experience leading migrations from legacy source control and CI/CD platforms (e.g., Jenkins, Git Lab CI,
CircleCI) to Git Hub Enterprise
- Strong experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC), integrating infrastructure provisioning into CI/CD pipelines
- Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms and cloud-native services supporting CI/CD and Dev Ops workflows
- Experience implementing Dev SecOps best practices, including SAST, DAST, dependency scanning, license compliance, secrets management, and secure deployment governance
- Experience managing and optimizing artifact repositories using JFrog Artifactory or Nexus Repository Manager
- Experience configuring and maintaining Sonar Qube for code quality analysis, governance, and technical debt management
- Strong proficiency in Python for automation and tooling, with working knowledge of Bash/Shell scripting
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes, including managed platforms such as Amazon EKS, Azure AKS, or Google GKE
- Expert knowledge of Git, including branching strategies, Git Flow, Trunk-Based Development, and repository management
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve complex CI/CD, infrastructure, and cloud platform issues
- Excellent communication, collaboration, stakeholder management, mentoring, and technical leadership skills
Preferred Skills:
- AWS Certified Dev Ops Engineer - Qualified or equivalent cloud certification
- Git Hub Actions, Git Hub Administration, Kubernetes, Terraform, or related Dev Ops certifications
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams
- Strong understanding of CI/CD governance, release management, and software delivery best practices
