SQL Developer (Fresher) – Job Description


About the Role


We are looking for a detail -oriented SQL Developer (Fresher) to work with databases, write queries, and support data -related operations. This role is ideal for candidates who have strong basics in SQL and want to build a career in data and backend development.

Key Responsibilities


- Write and execute SQL queries to retrieve and manipulate data

- Design, create, and maintain database tables and structures

- Perform data validation, cleaning, and troubleshooting

- Optimize queries for better performance

- Generate reports based on business requirements

- Work with developers and analysts to support data needs

- Ensure data accuracy and integrity






Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field

- Strong knowledge of SQL (SELECT, JOIN, GROUP BY, Subqueries)

- Understanding of database concepts (tables, indexes, relationships)

- Basic knowledge of RDBMS (MySQL / PostgreSQL / SQL Server)

- Familiarity with MS Excel

- Good analytical and problem -solving skills

- Attention to detail


Preferred Skills (Bonus)

- Knowledge of stored procedures, triggers, and views

- Basic understanding of data analysis concepts

- Familiarity with Power BI / Tableau

- Internship or academic project experience in databases
