Location: Kumbalgodi, Bangalore


Work Experience: 2–5 years


Salary: 20k -35k

Responsibilities:


- Design and deliver age -appropriate music lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum and educational goals.

- Teach foundational music concepts including rhythm, melody, harmony, notation, and music theory.

- Introduce students to diverse musical genres, including Indian classical, Western classical, folk, and contemporary music.

- Lead and mentor school music ensembles, choirs, bands, or cultural groups.




Requirements



- Bachelor’s degree in Music (B.Mus) or equivalent qualification; postgraduate degree (M.Mus) preferred.





- 2–5 years of teaching experience in a school or educational setting, preferably in the K -12 segment.

- Proficiency in at least one Indian classical music tradition (Carnatic or Hindustani) and familiarity with Western music theory.

- Solid instrumental or vocal proficiency (e.g., piano, violin, vocals, or other instruments).

- Demonstrated ability to engage students through interactive and student -centered teaching methods.
