We are looking for a motivated and detail -oriented Junior Data Engineer to join our growing data team. This role is ideal for freshers and early -career professionals who are passionate about data, databases, and building reliable data pipelines. You will work closely with data analysts, data scientists, and software engineers to support data -driven decision -making.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines
- Collect, clean, transform, and load data from multiple sources
- Develop and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and reporting
- Monitor data workflows and troubleshoot data -related issues
- Ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency across systems
- Support data integration and ETL/ELT processes
- Collaborate with cross -functional teams to understand data requirements
- Create and maintain technical documentation for data processes
- Learn and implement data engineering best practices
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field
- Strong understanding of SQL and database concepts
- Basic knowledge of Python or another programming language
- Understanding of data structures and data processing concepts
- Familiarity with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server
- Strong analytical and problem -solving skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Attention to detail and eagerness to learn
Preferred Skills (Bonus)
- Knowledge of ETL tools and data pipelines
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Basic understanding of Data Warehousing
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other visualization tools
- Internship or academic projects related to data engineering
- Exposure to Apache Spark, Hadoop, or Kafka
