Job Summary:
- Work on the inception phase of projects, including collecting requirements, suggesting methodologies and technologies, and release planning.
- Active researcher, keeping up with the latest trends in software development.
- Influence and strengthen agile development culture
- Inspire, mentor, and encourage developers to apply industry's best practices.
- Design and develop SCADA systems built around the Ignition platform.
- Lead the implementation of system integration between PLC, SCADA, MES and other third -party systems.
- Design, architecture, development, coding, testing (acceptance/FAT/SAT/UAT) and commissioning.
- Develop documentation including creating test scripts as required for validated facilities.
- Provide mentoring of fellow project members
- Work as a team player in project teams
- Work effectively at different levels within project teams, client organizations and sales
- Act as a liaison between the internal project team, internal management, and customer project teams and management
- Engagement with Tendering teams to develop Software design & development program/man hour budgets for new projects.
- Understand the project scope and financials and participate in the framing and quoting of projects to ensure successful project execution.
- Identify change orders and justify changes to Project Management; resolve issues and establish priorities between projects.
- Start -up of complex systems at customers' site
- Proactively develop customer relationships; anticipate and provide solutions to customer needs giving high priority to customer satisfaction.
Required Skills
- Must have hands - on experience on Ignition SCADA. Should know Install, configure, Architecture, Licensing, Scripting, Reporting in Ignition.
- Hands on experience in both Perspective and Vision views in Ignition.
- Experience in communication Protocols like Siemens, Rockwell, Mitsubishi, OPC(UA&DA;), XML.
- Knowledge of the programming languages (VBA, Python)
- IIOT (Industry Internet of Things )
- Industry 4.0, factory Automation
- Communication Protocols
- Industrial Protocols, Programmable Logic Controller (PLC)
- Supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA)
- Strong database skills (SQL and NoSql)
- Good knowledge in electrical schematic designs and component designs and all embedded controller interfaces.
- Define functional requirements for PLC, SCADA and MES solutions and interfaces through client workshops and documentation analysis.
- Develop detailed designs, implement, troubleshoot and test PLC, SCADA and MES integration solutions that meet client/project requirements.
- Experience in template development and troubleshooting.
- Experience in server -client architecture
- Experience in developing and Testing of the code.
- Adaptable to work in any part of the SCADA development.
- Experienced in network and field bus modules Modbus TCP, Ethernet/Ethercat, TCP/IP
- Design, code and test components used within MES, including reports and interfaces to various 3rd party systems like ERP, LIMS, QMS or CMMS
- Co -ordinate and carry out Full Functional Factory Testing (including UAT) of the PLC/HMI, SCADA and MES system Good to have/Desirable Skills
- Knowledge of field instrumentation, Intelligent & Conventional MCCs, Power Management, VSDs, Telemetry etc
- To develop and improve systems in line with industry best practice as part of company’s continuous improvement program and SOPs.

- Experience with Manufacturing/Infrastructure Industries (Power, Water, OEM/Industrial Products, Transportation/Automotive, Process Industries, Healthcare/Medical Devices etc.)
