and procure essential items that transform possibilities into realities for our customers and teams.nnRole Responsibilities:nn * Ensure supply continuity to enable manufacturing with speed and quality. Execute and manage pull-ins/push-outs with suppliers to meet MRP demandnn * Lead cross-functional team to drive problem resolution for supply issues with key stakeholders (i.e. engineering, manufacturing, Program Managers, Supplier Account Management)nn * Drive purchasing activities to execute purchase at the lowest cost consistent with consideration of quality, reliability of source and urgency of need.nn * Lead inventory and Eu0026Z reduction effortsnn * Manage and lead assigned Purchasing Projects (i.e. Manage cost, schedule, and scope as required)nn * Manage complex and sensitive information with supplier leadership team and internal stakeholdersnn * Contribute to purchasing process improvement within the team and Act as trainer for department purchasing activitiesnnnnn nMinimum Qualifications: nn * Bacheloru2019s degreenn * 2-4 years of experiencennnnn nPreferred Qualifications: nn * Strong knowledge of industry best practices, key business drivers, competition in the marketplacenn * Demonstrated leadership skills to lead small projects and build consensus, as needednnnnnAdditional InformationnnTime Type:nnFull timennEmployee Type:nnAssignee / RegularnnTravel:nnRelocation Eligible:nnNonnApplied Materials is an Equal Prospect Employer.
