Role Overview
As an Academic Counsellor, you will guide graduates and working professionals in selecting the right certification and career-development programs based on their education, experience and professional goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel prospective learners on suitable career and certification programs
- Understand learner profiles and recommend appropriate training pathways
- Manage inbound and outbound enquiries
- Follow up with prospective learners and support them through the enrolment process
- Build professional and long-term relationships with learners
- Achieve monthly enrolment targets
- Maintain accurate lead and follow-up records in the CRM
Required Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to understand career goals and provide structured guidance
- Consultative sales and counselling approach
- Self-motivated, organised and target-focused
- Basic knowledge of professional certification or IT training domains is preferred
- Fresh graduates with solid communication skills may also apply
