1 Job Purpose Experience 5 Year plus in Sourcing Procurement of electrical components in a manufacturing setup preferably capital goods heavy engineering construction equipment Overview To support the sourcing and procurement of electrical components panels and systems used in Aquarius products such as concrete pumps batching plants and related equipment The role involves vendor development technical evaluation cost optimisation and quality assurance coordination to ensure reliable supply and cost-effective procurement aligned with design and production requirements 2 Key Responsibilities Area Responsibilities Sourcing Identify evaluate and onboard suppliers for electrical components e g motors sensors PLC panels cables switchgear relays drives etc Technical Evaluation Coordinate with Design and Quality teams to finalise technical specifications drawings and quality plans for purchased components Conduct techno-commercial comparisons Cost Optimisation Analyse quotations benchmark prices and participate in cost reduction initiatives without compromising quality or delivery timelines Vendor Management Develop alternate sources maintain supplier performance records delivery quality responsiveness and ensure supplier audits Documentation Compliance Ensure adherence to ISO documentation maintain supplier technical data sheets and update vendor master records in ERP Market Intelligence Track trends in electrical component technology pricing and availability recommend substitutions or improvements ERP Data Management Create and maintain purchase orders vendor records and cost databases in the ERP system 3 Required Qualifications Education B E B Tech in Electrical Engineering 4 Competencies Strong knowledge of electrical components PLCs control panels drives and instrumentation Hands-on experience in vendor development and cost analysis Familiarity with technical drawings and BOMs Working knowledge of ERP systems Valuable analytical negotiation and communication skills Familiarity with terms and conditions of Supply Chain Management 5 Working Conditions Work Environment Head Office Pune 6 CTC - Upto 7 LPA based on experience Job Type Full-time Pay 400 000 00 - 700 000 00 per year Work Location In person
