Description Equinox Design Engineering India Pvt Ltd is a 100 subsidiary of Equinox Engineering Ltd Calgary-based EPCM firm We are the market leader in oil and gas processing specializing in facilities design implementation and operational assistance for natural gas conventional and heavy oil projects Our clients include several of the largest oil gas producers in Canada and worldwide and we are currently executing a wide range of sweet gas sour gas conventional oil heavy oil facility and pipeline projects Job Summary Equinox India is seeking Junior Process Engineering Executor who can demonstrate strong overall fit enthusiasm and a genuine interest in Process Engineering This role is designed to develop future Equinox India engineers through hands-on exposure to EPCM projects working under the guidance of experienced process engineers Key Responsibilities Assist senior engineers in performing process simulations and engineering calculations Support development of Heat Material Balances Process Flow Diagrams PFDs Piping Instrumentation Diagrams P IDs Equipment datasheets and line sizing calculations Participate in P ID and HAZOP reviews to gain exposure to process safety practices Support preparation of technical reports and engineering documentation Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to understand EPCM project execution Assist with vendor coordination document reviews and technical clarifications Contribute during commissioning start-up and troubleshooting activities as applicable Skills Knowledge and Expertise Strong understanding of chemical engineering fundamentals thermodynamics fluid mechanics Basic exposure to process simulation tools HYSYS preferred Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word Understanding of process flow diagrams P IDs and mass balances Awareness of process safety concepts and engineering best practices Ability to follow engineering procedures and deliver assigned tasks accurately Developing sense of ownership and responsibility for work output Clear communication with willingness to continuous improvement and career development Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams Education and Qualifications Bachelor s degree in chemical engineering 0-4 years of experience in an EPCM process engineering or related environment Internship or co-op experience in Process Engineering Exposure to EPCM project environments Equinox Success Statement Equinox consistently delivers focused and experienced premium teams custom-tailored with the best technical expertise to align seamlessly with client culture requirements Our commitment ensures the successful execution of projects on a repeatable basis About Equinox Engineering Ltd Established in 1997 Equinox is a distinguished EPCM service provider globally Our wide-ranging portfolio includes Sweet and Sour Gas Processing Facilities Heavy and Conventional Oil Production Steam Pipeline Systems and an increasing focus on sustainable energy solutions like Carbon Capture Utilization and Storage CCUS facilities and pipelines Renewable Natural Gas RNG projects and Landfill Gas LFG initiatives
