Title HR Associate Role Purpose You are responsible for hiring people and managing HR basics You will find candidates talk to them move them through the pipeline close hires and keep all HR documentation in order This role exists so hiring does not stall and HR work does not become messy Core ResponsibilitiesHiring Main Job Source candidates using job portals LinkedIn referrals and direct outreach Shortlist resumes based on role requirements Conduct initial HR screening calls Track every candidate from first contact to joining Follow up until roles are closed Manage offers and ensure candidates actually join Candidate Tracking Reporting Maintain a live hiring tracker status feedback drop-offs joins Share regular hiring updates with management Identify where candidates are dropping and fix it HR Documentation Create and manage offer letters appointment letters and contracts Handle onboarding and exit formalities Maintain employee records and HR files Track attendance leaves and payroll inputs Employee Support Handle basic HR queries from employees Ensure HR policies are followed Escalate responsible issues when required What You Are Measured On Positions closed Time taken to close roles Offer-to-joining ratio Accuracy of HR records Who This Role Fits Someone who likes closing things not just coordinating Comfortable with follow-ups and accountability Organized detail-oriented and calm Fine with routine work if it gets results Requirements Any degree 1-3 years of experience in recruitment or HR Hands-on experience with hiring not just scheduling Basic Excel Google Sheets skills What This Role Is Not Not a strategy or leadership role Not a culture evangelist position Not a passive coordination job Job Type Full-time Work Location In person
