Job Title Sewing Machine Mechanic - Shirt Manufacturing Unit Location Erode Employment Type Full-time Department Maintenance Production Support About the Company We are establishing a modern shirt manufacturing facility equipped with advanced sewing technology and a focus on quality and efficiency We are looking for an experienced Sewing Machine Mechanic to join our technical team and ensure smooth machine setup operation and maintenance during and after factory setup Key Responsibilities 1 Machine Installation Setup Install align and calibrate sewing machines according to the shirt production layout Set up machines for specific shirt operations collar cuff placket yoke sleeve side seam hem buttonhole button sew etc Support factory setup activities including power line compressed air and workstation readiness 2 Preventive Corrective Maintenance Plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules for all sewing machines Diagnose and repair mechanical electrical and pneumatic faults quickly to minimize downtime Maintain service logs and maintenance records for each machine 3 Quality Performance Optimization Adjust stitch balance tension and feed for different fabric types e g cotton poplin oxford Ensure smooth machine operation to meet quality standards and production targets Support the production and quality team in resolving stitch-related quality issues 4 Spare Parts Workshop Management Maintain and manage spare parts inventory and tools Coordinate with suppliers for spare parts procurement and new machine installation support 5 Training Team Support Train operators in basic maintenance threading and machine handling Supervise junior mechanics and ensure safety compliance in all maintenance work Required Skills Qualifications ITI Diploma in Mechanical Electrical or Textile Machinery Maintenance preferred Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a sewing machine mechanic in a shirt or woven garment factory Strong knowledge of machines such as Juki Brother Pegasus Siruba etc Ability to read technical manuals and machine setup guides Hands-on experience with both manual and computerized sewing machines Good troubleshooting teamwork and communication skills Preferred Experience Prior involvement in new factory setup or expansion projects Experience handling auto-trimmer machines programmable sewing units or special attachments used in shirt manufacturing Benefits Competitive salary performance incentives Accommodation transport as applicable Growth and training opportunities within a rapid-growing company Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 15 000 00 - 25 000 00 per month Benefits Provident Fund Work Location In person
