Job Title Structural Design Engineer Location Coimbatore Department Engineering Design Experience 2 - 5 years Job Summary The Structural Design Engineer will be responsible for designing analyzing and developing structural components and systems for various projects The role involves preparing structural drawings performing calculations coordinating with internal teams and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and safety codes Key Responsibilities Prepare structural designs and detailed engineering drawings for buildings industrial structures steel structures as applicable Perform structural analysis load calculations and design checks using industry-standard software Develop GA drawings fabrication drawings and reinforcement detailing Ensure designs comply with applicable IS codes and other relevant standards Review and interpret architectural mechanical and civil drawings Provide technical support to project teams during execution and address structural design-related issues Collaborate with architects project managers and site engineers for seamless project delivery Prepare design reports BOQs and technical documentation Conduct design optimization for cost-effective and safe structures Participate in design reviews and incorporate feedback effectively Required Skills Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering Structural Engineering B E B Tech Strong knowledge of structural engineering principles and materials Familiarity with design standards such as IS ACI BS or Euro codes as applicable Hands-on experience with structural design software such as STAAD Pro ETABS SAFE AutoCAD Revit optional Good understanding of RCC steel and foundation design Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Attention to detail and ability to prepare accurate drawings calculations Good communication and documentation skills Preferred Qualifications Optional Experience in industrial structures PEB commercial buildings or residential projects Knowledge of finite element analysis FEA Basic site exposure or internship experience Advantages Regular off on Saturday and Sunday Breakfast and lunch provided - Free of cost Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 25 000 00 - 40 000 00 per month Benefits Food provided Health insurance Paid sick time Paid time off Provident Fund
