The School Cricket Ground Campus Grounds Manager is responsible for maintaining the cricket ground football ground play areas and surrounding greenery across the school campus The role involves basic pitch preparation maintaining plants and lawns coordinating ground bookings for internal external matches and ensuring that all sports areas are safe clean and ready for daily use Ground Maintenance Cricket Play Areas Maintain the cricket ground and open play areas in valuable condition Keep the surface level remove stones obstacles and fill uneven patches Regular grass cutting and maintenance of the outfield Ensure boundary ropes cones stumps nets and other sports equipment are maintained Keep all play areas clean and safe for students and also for visitors Basic Pitch Preparation Prepare and maintain cricket practice pitches matting or turf as applicable Watering rolling if roller available and marking crease lines as needed Ensure nets screens and practice areas are ready before scheduled sessions Keep the pitch area covered during rain if required Surroundings Plant Maintenance Maintain plants shrubs trees and small gardens around the ground Regular watering pruning cleaning and replacing damaged plants Ensure the area looks green fresh and welcoming for students and visitors Report plant health issues to the horticulture team if required Ensure washrooms drinking water and sitting areas near the grounds are clean and functional during events Conduct daily inspections of the grounds Remove debris sticks stones and unsafe objects Ensure pathways around grounds are clean and child-safe Report any damage immediately nets poles fencing boundary walls Ground Booking Scheduling Manage bookings for o Cricket academies o Local clubs o Coaching centers o Corporate matches o Private tournaments Maintain a ground availability calendar for o School matches o External academies where approved Key Booking Responsibilities Handle inquiries through phone WhatsApp Provide slot availability and pricing details Block slots once payment advance is received Ensure no double booking Provide customer support and timely updates Equipment Inventory Management Maintain a log of all sports equipment kept in the ground area o Balls stumps nets cones markers o Boundary ropes o Mower hoses sprinklers Raise requests to management for damaged or missing items Reporting Submit weekly updates on o Ground condition o Plant maintenance o Booking schedule o Equipment needs o Issues requiring management approval Skills Required Basic knowledge of ground maintenance Good understanding of school sport s needs cricket football athletics Ability to manage greenery and outdoor plants Good coordination and communication skills Physically fit able to work outdoors Basic knowledge of equipment like mowers hoses sprinklers Qualifications Experience in ground maintenance gardening or sports facility upkeep preferred Ability to coordinate with sports staff School experience is an added advantage Job Type Full-time Pay 20 000 00 - 35 000 00 per month Benefits Health insurance Work Location In person
