Jambrina CPA PC is seeking a skilled and experienced CPA to join our tax team In this role you will oversee complex tax preparation and planning ensuring compliance with federal state and international tax regulations while providing strategic insights for a wide range of clients The ideal candidate will have at least ten years of relevant experience proficiency in Thomson Reuters Tax Software and the ability to thrive in a rapid-paced environment Spanish language skills are highly preferred Responsibilities Prepare and review individual and business federal tax returns 1120 1120S 1065 across various industries Prepare and review adjusting journal entries and calculated-to-tax differences for business returns Prepare and review reconciles tax depreciation gain loss calculations and asset roll forwards Review with U S international tax calculations and workpapers including forms 5471 5472 8858 8804 and 1042 Prepare Texas Franchise Tax reports and state income tax returns Manage extensions and quarterly estimated federal and state tax payments Conduct tax research using available tools and software Develop and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional service Respond to notices from tax authorities and tax audits Qualifications More than 10 years of U S CPA certification required Bachelor s degree in Accounting required Minimum of 10 years of U S federal and state tax compliance experience Experience with international tax compliance preferred Proficiency in Thomson Reuters Tax Software required Spanish language skills preferred Strong skills in Microsoft Excel organization communication and analysis Ability to work independently meet deadlines and adapt to changing priorities
