Company Description Colliers NASDAQ TSX CIGI is a leading global diversified professional services and investment management company specializing in commercial real estate services engineering consultancy and investment management With operations in 70 countries our 23 000 enterprising professionals provide exceptional service and expert advice to clients For nearly 30 years our experienced leadership - with substantial inside ownership - has consistently delivered approximately 20 compound annual investment returns for shareholders With annual revenues exceeding 5 5 billion and 108 billion of assets under management Colliers maximizes the potential of property infrastructure and real assets to accelerate the success of our clients investors and people The position is mainly responsible to represent Colliers International on single multiple projects in respective city region 1 To develop draft general special condition of contract 2 To maintain and implement construction proforma budget for each project 3 To identify contract material requirement based on project plans and lead time and timely procurement of the same at the most economical rate without compromising on quality 4 To ensure and maintain effective vendor relationship to get the best deals for the organization 5 Increase use of lower cost logistics and distribution channels 6 To conduct procurement analysis supply risk assessments demand and supply market analysis and supplier evaluation 7 Provide MIS report 8 To install a system of inspection in contract to ensure that materials received are as per specifications 9 To establish a system of pre-qualification of vendors suppliers 10 To research new materials for design and cost savings 11 To develop and implement recent purchasing strategies to deliver ongoing cost reductions and process simplification 12 To assist in maintaining company quality control program 13 Handle change order requests and claim management Accountabilities 1 To ensure accurate take-offs so that budgets are accurate 2 To ensure compliance to project budgets and provide analysis of deviations 3 To assist in settling invoice or contract disputes Qualifications 1 BE Civil 2 Additional qualification like Postgraduate in Contract Management is preferred 3 Excellent computer skills and ability to read and understand construction plans 4 Minimum 18-20 years construction industry experience of which at least 15 years has been in procurement and should have handled multiple projects 5 Knowledge of complete tendering process and familiarity with Contract Management Standard Tender conditions and exposure to Indian and International conditions like FIDIC 6 Exposure to turnkey contracts and projects like commercial buildings IT Parks Hotels Residential Hospital etc is essential Exposure to claim management taxation Additional Information The candidate should have excellent analytical strategic leadership communications and writing skills S he should be a good team player
