Role Overview A Roof and Facade Designer Engineer specializes in the external envelope of buildings like hospital medical college universities institutes airports railway hospitality commercial and government project construction to design insulated metal aluminium polycarbonate glass roof and facade mild steel structure detail drawing and design steel wight calculation and pre-engineering building s roof and facade from scratch to execution and focusing on both aesthetic appeal and functional performance This role is pivotal in ensuring that the building s exterior is not only visually striking but also structurally sound and energy-efficient Qualifications Skills Bachelor and Master Degree in Civil Engineering BTech or MTech Bachelor s degree in Architecture or a related field 100 Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D Revit Rhino 3D Max Sketch Up ETABS STAAD Pro and Tekla Structures to produce accurate models for 2D 3D mild steel structure design drawing renderings and execution Advantage MTech with Mild Steel Structure RHS SHS CHS I C Channel experience will be first preference Experience Minimum 3 to 5 years experience in same filed Utmost Required Skills Proficiency AutoCAD 2D Revit Rhino 3D Max Sketch Up ETABS STAAD Pro and Tekla Structures Other Required Skills Strong understanding of roofing and facade building materials and construction techniques Excellent communication and project management skills Key Responsibilities Design Detailing Create detailed designs for roofs and facades considering factors like aesthetics weather resistance and energy efficiency Collaboration Work closely with architects structural engineers and clients to integrate design concepts seamlessly Material Selection Choose appropriate materials like Aluminium Mild Steel Galvalume Mineral Wool Puff Panel Glass Metal Flashing Channel etc based on durability cost and aesthetic considerations Compliance Ensure designs adhere to local building codes safety standards and environmental regulations Site Supervision Oversee the installation process to ensure design specifications are met 2D and 3D Modeling Having complete knowledge to Utilize software like AutoCAD Revit Rhino 3D Max Sketch Up ETABS STAAD Pro and Tekla Structures to produce accurate models for 2D 3D mild steel structure design drawing renderings and execution Job Type Full-time Pay 15 000 00 - 20 000 00 per month Advantages Cell phone reimbursement Commuter assistance Internet reimbursement Work Location In person
