A Cement Concrete CC Road Engineer designs plans and supervises the construction and maintenance of durable high-quality concrete road infrastructure Key responsibilities include conducting site investigations creating structural designs using AutoCAD Civil 3D managing budgets ensuring compliance with safety standards and overseeing material quality and curing processes Key Responsibilities Design Planning Prepare detailed road pavement and drainage designs including structural calculations drawings and in some cases 3D models Site Management Oversee on-site activities including excavation base preparation formwork installation concrete pouring and finishing to maintain precise line and level Quality Control Supervise material testing concrete strength aggregate quality and ensure proper curing procedures are followed to prevent premature cracking Project Management Manage project schedules budgets and for some roles resource allocation and subcontractor coordination Safety Compliance Ensure compliance with all construction regulations environmental standards and health and safety requirements Reporting Monitor project progress compile status reports and prepare technical documentation Required Qualifications Skills Education Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering or related field Experience Proven experience in road construction specifically with pavement design and concrete technology Technical Skills Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and relevant design software Soft Skills Strong project management communication and problem-solving abilities Common Qualifications Keywords AutoCAD Civil 3D Concrete Pavement Design Site Supervision Management Project Scheduling Budgeting Quality Control Testing Job Type Full time Pay 19 500 00 - 25 000 00 per month Work Location In person
