Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Import-Export Consultant with strong knowledge of the fresh fruit trade to support and optimize international sourcing compliance logistics and market expansion The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with perishable goods global trade regulations and supply chain coordination from farm to market Key Responsibilities Advise on import and export procedures for fresh fruits including documentation customs clearance and trade compliance Ensure compliance with international trade laws phytosanitary regulations food safety standards and country-specific import requirements Coordinate with farmers exporters importers freight forwarders customs brokers and inspection agencies Optimize logistics and cold-chain management to maintain fruit quality and reduce spoilage Analyze target markets tariffs duties and trade agreements to support market entry and expansion Support negotiation of contracts pricing structures and Incoterms Identify risks related to perishability delays regulatory changes and propose mitigation strategies Monitor global fruit market trends seasonality and supply-demand dynamics Train internal teams or clients on best practices in fruit import-export operations Required Qualifications Skills Proven experience in import-export consulting preferably in fresh fruits or perishable agricultural products o Strong understanding of o Phytosanitary certificates o Cold chain logistics o Customs documentation BL COO invoices packing lists etc o Food safety and quality standards e g GLOBALG A P HACCP organic certifications o Knowledge of major fruit-importing exporting markets o Excellent negotiation communication and stakeholder management skills o Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities o Proficiency in MS Office Preferred Qualifications Degree in Trade Supply Chain Agriculture Logistics or related field o Multilingual skills especially relevant trade languages o Experience working with fresh produce exporters importers or trading companies Job Types Full time Permanent Pay 35 000 00 - 50 000 00 per month Work Location In person
