Position Overview We are seeking a skilled SMEP Engineer to oversee and coordinate all Structural Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing aspects of our real estate projects The role involves working closely with architects consultants and contractors to ensure that all SMEP systems are designed executed and delivered in line with project requirements quality standards and regulatory codes Key Responsibilities Review and coordinate SMEP designs drawings and specifications for accuracy and compliance with project requirements Conduct feasibility studies load calculations and technical evaluations for SMEP systems Collaborate with architects structural engineers and contractors to ensure seamless integration of SMEP services into overall project execution Oversee site installation testing and commissioning of SMEP works Ensure adherence to building codes safety standards and statutory approvals Monitor contractor performance materials and workmanship to maintain quality standards Prepare technical reports progress updates and documentation for project stakeholders Troubleshoot SMEP issues on site and provide practical engineering solutions Manage coordination meetings with consultants vendors and project teams to resolve technical challenges Ensure energy efficiency and sustainability measures are incorporated into designs and execution Required Skills and Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Electrical Civil Engineering or related discipline Master s preferred Professional certifications in MEP services project management or BIM preferred but not mandatory Robust knowledge of local building codes fire safety norms and sustainability standards Proficiency in AutoCAD Revit BIM and relevant SMEP design software Minimum 5-7 years of experience in SMEP coordination within the real estate or construction industry Excellent problem-solving coordination and communication skills Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver under tight deadlines Reporting Structure Reports to Project Manager Head of Engineering Coordinates with Architects Structural Engineers Consultants and Contractors Job Location Based at Hyderabad Telangana Travel to project sites as required
