Work Schedule Standard Mon-Fri Environmental Conditions Office When you join us at Thermo Fisher Scientific you ll be part of an inquisitive team that shares your passion for exploration and discovery With revenues of more than 40 billion and the largest investment in R D in the industry we give our people the resources and chances to create significant contributions to the world Location Division Specific Information Located in the vibrant city of Bangalore Karnataka India our division is at the forefront of innovative technology Join us to be part of an outstanding team crafting the future of automation engineering Discover Impactful Work At Thermo Fisher Scientific you will determine and successfully implement world-class solutions within the IT domain Your work will contribute to ambitious projects that foster innovation and excellence A DAY IN THE LIFE Design build and implement end-to-end automation workflows using Ansible StackStorm Terraform Python and other modern orchestration tools to eliminate manual processes and drive efficiency Integrate enterprise systems such as ServiceNow monitoring platforms e g BigPanda and operational backends to deliver seamless self-service experiences across the organization Collaborate multi-functionally with cloud infrastructure and application teams to develop scalable and resilient automation solutions aligned with business and IT strategy Document and share guidelines reusable components and operational runbooks to enable faster adoption and reduce technical debt KEYS TO SUCCESS Education Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field or equivalent professional experience in automation and DevOps engineering Experience Proven experience in automation engineering DevOps or systems integration roles preferably in large-scale or hybrid-cloud environments Hands-on expertise with Ansible StackStorm Python and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform Strong background in workflow automation and event-driven orchestration experience with n8n StackStorm or similar platforms preferred Familiarity with public cloud platforms AWS Azure GCP and hybrid cloud-native operations Experience working with monitoring alerting and incident management tools such as BigPanda Prometheus or Grafana Strong understanding of CI CD pipelines GitOps practices and scripting languages Python Bash PowerShell etc Knowledge Skills and Abilities Deep understanding of data center technologies networking and virtualization concepts Proficiency in designing modular reusable and scalable automation components Excellent problem-solving debugging and troubleshooting skills in complex multi-platform environments Passion for continuous learning exploring new tools and frameworks and driving innovation through automation Physical Requirements Work Environment This role is primarily office-based with occasional requirements to visit data centers Our work environment is agile collaborative and inclusive Benefits We offer competitive remuneration annual incentive plan bonus healthcare and a range of employee benefits Thermo Fisher Scientific offers employment with an innovative forward-thinking organization and outstanding career and development prospects We offer an exciting company culture that stands for integrity intensity involvement and innovation
