amazing companies that help feed the world provide life-saving medicine on a global scale and focus on clean water and green mobility - our people are energized problem solvers that take pride in how the work we do changes the world for the better We welcome all makers forward thinkers and problem solvers who are looking for a place to do their best work And if that s you we would love to have you join us Position Summary The Smart Process Commercial Engineer has and shows a diverse set of technical experience with Process DCS system design spanning Control automation Industrial Networks and PlantPAx by applying multiple products and technologies into complete solutions You will work with our Marketing Sales and Engineering organisations to ensure our customers successful implementation of their systems using Rockwell Automation products You will be a core enabler of the Smart Process strategic initiative in Asia Pacific accelerating adoption of standard solution architectures and increasing PlantPAx and Industrial Networks attach across sub regions We are looking for candidates who have application engineering expertise and can collaborate with teams across varied geographic locations and organisational structures The position will require travel up to 35 to support overall goals such as trade shows training and customer visits You will work in a hybrid model from one of the these locations Gurgaon Pune or Bangalore and will report to Director SWC AP Your Responsibilities Develop personal technical expertise and commercial knowledge of Rockwell Automation Smart Process products and industrial automation environments and applications Be Asia Pacific regional technical expert supporting SPR SEA India Japan Korea and Greater China to support marketing and sales organisations in pre-sales customer engagements including system architecture reviews proof of concepts and recommendations Coordinate with sub regional Software Control teams account teams and cross BU partners to align solution approach pricing packaging guardrails and delivery readiness for Smart Process opportunities Prepare technical documentation presentations webinars videos and other tools to improve Salesforce and domain expert effectiveness in system-oriented topics Support trade shows through the creation of presentations demonstrations and orhand on labs Conduct customer demonstrations remotely and in Customer Solution and Experience Centres Build data driven business cases and write commercial justifications for offer enhancements analyse pipeline win-loss attach and usage data to identify product offer gaps and quantify impact The Essentials - You Will Have Bachelor s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience Minimum of 10 years of demonstrated experience with control system design and supporting customer applications Operate with a across time zones triage ambiguous problems propose options with trade offs and lead decisions to keep opportunities moving Design productive networking experience Demonstrated DCS Process application experience Ability to drive self-paced learning The Preferred -
